Just a question, on my previous post, someone said that upgrading the 2 of S4 guide rails to RS4 rails don't make a miracle. Yes, you can upgrade some of the guides. There are 3 chains, 2 time the 4 cams, and 1 times the other two with the crank. The 2 that time the cams are different, and cannot be replaced with rs4 parts, but the 1 that times the crank can be replaced with rs4 parts, and thatβs the one that fails most often. 2.

Do any of you have the Factory service intervals for our S4's? If so, what does it say about timing chain service intervals. My understanding of these chains is they were installed on engines to add durability and reduce the need for servicing (like timing belts required). Any help would be appreciated.
