Disconnect the tyre inflator and blip the windscreen washer and hey presto there is water flowing again. Re-connect the feed tube to the T junction and secure the sound insulation. Job done, although for completeness you could syphon out the washer bottle, contents crud and all and then refill. Quote.

I have put the car into a test mode (Holding down the heated screen button whilst turning the ignition to position II) - pressing the boot lid button does emit a beep, so the switch is working. Note that when the ignition is on, the fob will not open the boot, so I have to stop the engine and take the key out.
Sorry mate, this is a bad sign, I recommend a visit to the local car parts shop and get a roll of two inch wide masking tape and some blu tac, Remove the unit from the dash, disconnect all cables, make sure your ignition is off. you now need a metal disk about 1 inch across, a 10p coin is about the right size.
What's weird though, ive had battery issues before, in fact a year after getting the car, the battery was replaced under warranty by Ford. The car struggled to start, the fans wouldnt work when driving, the heated screen didnt work (no idea if its working now),but mainly it struggled to start.
. You can fully charge your battery and reset the BMS and everything will work again but eventually, it may drift back to not working. It is a flawed system. My wife has a 2014 Fiesta without BMS and the heated screen works whenever the button is pressed. In my 2018 S-Max with BMS it is a lottery in cold weather as to whether the heated screen
So lets check the fuse in the CJB. it should be F11. If that has power then check that the grounds to the reverse lights have very little resistance to a known good ground point. if you have power at the fuse but no power to the rear and the ground is good then we are probably looking at a broken wire. 1.
