r/Jaguar • As a kid, Dad grew up admiring the Mk2 Jag, fave colour burgundy… He never had the chance to own one and isnt a fan of the newer styles so he just picked up this 2006 S type with 12k miles, full Jag service history, garaged, and looks like its been on display in the Jaguar museum for last 15 years Jaguar-Land Rover (JLR) hasn't had any significant advertisement campaigns for the I-Pace in the USA since 2019. They also didn't sell it in the USA in MY2021 which didn't help with visibility. The I-Pace is an EV orphan in the JLR lineup and wasn't really ever part of a cohesive EV strategy. 2023 Jaguar F-pace SVR. Car has had a phantom thud noise. No lights indicating a problem. Bought my car in November, been in and out of dealership since December. The noise was very faint back then I didn’t notice until it gradually started to get louder. Technicians can’t seem to find the problem had to wait for a month because they didn Biggest issue with Jaguar's is resale value but if you're buying used they're good cars. I've always read that they've improved leaps and bounds (which isn't saying a ton) in reliability, but I'm going off anecdotal evidence, just sharing what I've heard. They have pretty decent warranties at very least. 2017 Jaguar F-Pace Warranty. Jaguar covers the 2017 F-Pace with a five-year/60,000-mile warranty, which includes factory recommended scheduled maintenance and roadside assistance at no additional cost. Warranty information last updated: 8/23/18. . The Model 3/Y crushed it in sales. The Ioniq's 2020 global sales are even more insignificant: 13.8k. High-end (~$100k) luxury vehicles like the Model S/X (56k) or Taycan (20k) significantly outsold it. Let's hope Hyundai makes a lot more of their newer EVs, because from what I've heard they are excellent cars. I daily drove my 17 f-type v6 about 800 mile a month for almost 5 years until a teenager blew threw a light and crashed in to me totaling it. Had a couple minor issues but Jag has an awesome warranty so I got to drive some of the other models as loaners a couple times. I miss it every day and am looking for another F-Type to replace it's a daily. Jaguar’s reliability problems mostly come from them using terrible manufacturers, which would routinely pinch pennies on the build quality. The I-Pace and E-Pace use a Austrian company for manufacturing - Magna Steyr, known for manufacturing multiple models of BMWs, Mercedes, the current Supra, and even a model for Aston Martin. Ever since Jaguar moved out of Ford’s umbrella, their reliability has improved substantially. I own a 2017 XE in the US and haven’t had any major (or minor) issues whatsoever. Had to replace tyres after 3rd year but that’s pretty much it. Cost depends on type and location. I absolutely love my car.
