After I built a second workshop, they both started yielding diminishing returns, each workshop fell to less than 100% efficiency, in other words 2 shops were producing less gold than 1 shop earned in two days. Building workshops not only decreases the amount of wood available in town, it drives the prices higher, cuts your profits. Buying and then selling it only costs you 2-3k denars net, and you get a free 'switch production' when you first buy it. It takes a few weeks for the effects on the market to become evident, but eventually you'll be able to make your money back and then some by buying the cheap manufactured goods to sell elsewhere. twilightgraphix15 Apr 1, 2020 @ 10:01am. this time around u only make money if u bet, however if u win the item is usually very nice and sellls for good money esp early on. #11. Posts: Parties don't make money unless you're in a war and can consistently win large battles and sell the loot and ransom the prisoners. The main draw is saving on influence and training the companions. The thing that sucks is that the AI can call your parties to their armies and get your men captured. #3. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. Caravan Making Literally No Money. I've had my caravan for at least 2 in game weeks and it has yet to make more than 400 a day. My daily troopy cost alone is 350, and the cost for the caravan is 250. I'm losing money every damn day and my caravan is doing nothing. . How you want to make money will ultimately depend on you character. There are quite a lot of threads out there about making money so you could google those for tips but I'll give my 2 cents below. The first thing some people will do is sign up as a freelancer in a lord's army. My second workshop is still stuck at 0. Not 2, not 7, 0. It really looks like a bug (recurring, because already present in 1.8). I do have : a workshop with plenty of resources a prosperous city no competing workshop in the city There is at least a huge problem of agency / readability. If the workshop does become profitable, you still have a bit of a hole to climb out of. You need current capital to be above initial capital. Once this happens, you'll get a payout of 20% of the amount above initial capital. So if initial = 10000 and current = 11000, you'll receive 200 per day. Keep in mind, wood workshops are generally lower Yes, do so at this point. Those fiefs are your goals, make sure its not more than four and that they are all adjacent to each other on the map. Ensure that the people in the town and the surrounding villages love you by doing their quests. Do tournaments if you want, but loot yields more money. Start building that army you always wanted. That's more than enough for 1-2 workshops. Not to mention quest to hunt brigands + hideout + loot is about 10k. It's not game fault, but it should be more stable/predictable. Caravan that's fastest party on world map shouldn't get caught by 4.0 speed bandit party. Yes, supply/demand does make sense, problem however is the impact it has.
